I tried several ways of installing the OS on the hard drive (which I had formatted when I was getting ready to install High Sierra).

I downloaded it, burned it to a dual-layer DVD, put it in my MBP and booted directly into the install menu.

To create a bootable media to install Mac OS X leopard on my old macbook A1181.

I was very happy to find this 10.5.4 version which worked perfectly.

Used the latter to boot my old MacPro 1.1 (two 2.66 GHz, dual-core processors) and installed.

I installed a number of drives til eventually I found one that worked.

When I open it, it requests to restart the computer to begin with the installation process, but after the restart nothing happens, so Im stucked in a sort of loop.

Signing an installer with this type of certificate enables you to distribute it outside the Mac App Store.

When an end user downloads and runs your installer, Gatekeeper allows the installer to run.

When authentication is required and standard users who are not root users or administrative users with adequate privileges try to launch your installer or uninstaller, they are prompted to enter an administrator name and password in order to proceed.

Note that InstallAnywhere generates the uninstaller and bundles it into the installer at build time.

If any part of the process is not signed with a matching Developer ID Application certificate, the process fails.
